WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
I typically book 2-3 months in advance. Plan your session to take place between 29-34 weeks of pregnancy.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
I have many locations around Lafayette and we will talk about a location that is perfect for you during your consultation. The best time of day for a location session is early morning or sunset.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
I have a small selection of maternity dresses available for you to use. I recommend flowing fabric and soft neutral colors.
CAN MY FAMILY JOIN ME?
Absolutely! Your session includes immediately family.

YOUR NEWBORN EXPERIENCE
BOOKING PROCESS:
We will schedule a pre-session consultation by phone to chat about your vision and to customize your session. At this time, I will tentatively add you to my calendar according to your due date.
YOUR SESSION:
Once Baby arrives, your session will be scheduled before baby is 18 days old. All newborn sessions take place in your home.
I bring my studio to you! I want you to relax and enjoy this experience. Expect your session to be reflective of what you see on my website, social media and this guide.
SESSION LENGTH:
Each baby is different and realistically, it’s the little one who determines the length of the session. On average, expect to spend 2-3 hours at the session.
PROPS:
I will provide all of the wraps and props needed for your session. Let me know if you have a certain color scheme or preference to incorporate!
SIBLINGS & PARENTS:
While focus will always be on the baby, siblings and parents are always welcome to jump in for a few shots!
SAFETY FIRST:
Safety is always my number one priority. I will never force a baby into a pose. Some babies are resistant to certain poses and that’s ok! I will move on to others.
